Yamaha MOXF8 88-Key Synthesizer Workstation, Very Good Condition

Selling my Yamaha MOXF8, a gigging-ready 88-key workstation that has served me well. I've used it mainly for church and production work, and more recently for function band gigs.

Why the MOXF8?
It runs Yamaha's AWM2 sound engine with Expanded Articulation, the same lineage as the Motif XF, and the same sound family that carries through to the Montage and MODX. That means big, professional sounds in a more affordable, roadworthy package.

Key features

• 88 keys with Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) action: heavier in the bass, lighter in the treble, like an acoustic piano
• 128-note polyphony
• 741 MB of waveforms, with over 1,100 preset voices and 72 drum kits
• Two Yamaha grand pianos sampled (the 9' CFIIIS and the 7' S6), plus excellent electric pianos, organs, clavs, strings, brass and synths
• 16-track sequencer, with 7,981 arpeggio patterns and a 4-part arpeggiator
• 8 assignable knobs, pitch bend and mod wheels
• Flash memory expansion slot
• Built-in 4-in/2-out USB audio/MIDI interface, so it works as a MIDI controller for your DAW or VSTs
• Roughly 15 kg, so it's far lighter than most 88-key stage instruments

Condition
Very good overall. Everything works perfectly, but to be upfront:

• Light scratch marks on the surfaces from normal use
• The A4 key is slightly loose, and you'd only notice if you really pay attention. It plays fine.
• The power adapter socket on the keyboard is slightly loose. It works fine, but you may need to find the sweet spot around the stand.

Priced with the above in mind. Happy to demo it, and you're welcome to come and try it before buying. Collection preferred. Message me with any questions or for more photos.
