This subwoofer is in fair condition. Our 8-point functional test was completed in full: all checks passed except no rattle. Note: The unit is in working order; however, when the volume is pushed, the audio begins to break up and crackle. Cosmetically, the unit shows signs of use, with discolouration and surface marks throughout. The Yamaha YST-MSW10 is a compact active subwoofer built around Yamaha's Active Servo Processing (YST) technology, which uses a feedback loop between the amplifier and driver to reduce distortion and extend low-frequency performance.
