A modern classic with unmistakable Marshall DNA, the Marshall 425A is a angled-front 4x12 cabinet designed to deliver huge tone with vintage character. Originally released as part of the Vintage Modern series, this cab blends classic British voicing with a slightly smoother, more refined top end — perfect for players chasing rich, dynamic rock tones.
Loaded with four 12” Celestion G12C Greenback speakers, the 425A offers warm lows, detailed mids, and a sweet, controlled high end. It handles everything from articulate cleans to full-bodied overdrive with ease, making it an incredibly versatile cabinet for both stage and studio use.

Tone & Performance
The 425A sits right in that sweet spot between vintage warmth and modern usability. Compared to a traditional G12M-loaded cab, the G12C speakers offer a slightly smoother top end and fuller low-mid response, making it particularly well-suited to amps that benefit from a bit of added depth and balance.
Whether you’re pairing it with a Vintage Modern head or something from the JCM or Plexi family, this cab delivers that unmistakable Marshall punch — thick, musical, and ready for the stage.
Condition
The cab is in excellent condition with only very minor signs of use, please see pictures.

All of our speaker cabinets are shipped in custom made Overdrive boxes with extra protection inside. We usually use UPS or DHL for international shipments. We have lots of experience shipping Marshall items worldwide and ship to North America and Europe on a weekly basis.
