Offered for sale is an exceptionally rare vintage Selmer Little Giant valve guitar amplifier, dating from Selmer’s highly collectable early-to-mid-1960s crocodile-skin period.

This compact British-made valve combo is in excellent original cosmetic condition for its age. It retains its distinctive grey faux-crocodile covering, black-sided cabinet finish, original grille cloth, gold/beige control panel and the classic Selmer badge. The chrome-topped control knobs, sturdy top carry handle and rear manufacturer’s label are all present and correct.

Condition

The cabinet presents beautifully, no tears, rips, or major damage to the croc-skin tolex. There are light, age-appropriate marks and gentle wear consistent with a vintage amplifier of this era, fully shown in the photos. Everything is complete, original and unmodified throughout.

A Piece of British Rock History

The Little Giant carries wonderful early rock heritage, Keith Richards used this exact model in the Rolling Stones’ formative years, affectionately nicknamed the “Mighty Midget.” Compact, rich and sweetly breaking up at low volumes, it’s the same tone that powered early British rock.
