A superb example of a vintage Marshall JMP 50 Lead Model 1987 from 1972. Hand wired and loaded with classic early-’70s Marshall tone — rich mids, aggressive crunch, and huge dynamic response.

This non-master-volume 50-watt head delivers everything from warm vintage cleans to the unmistakable British roar heard on countless classic rock records. Still mostly original circuit, it's fully serviced, tested, and sounding exceptional.

Freshly serviced by ex-Marshall senior engineer Dave Wittering (Prestige Amp Servicing), this amp is in excellent working order, fully tested, and ready to go — free from the usual issues associated with long-stored vintage gear.

Chassis: 

• Replacement OEM mains transformer - TXMA-00004
• 784-139 output transformer
• 352-114 choke
• The majority of solder joints are original with red shellac
• Original Mullard mustards

• Screen Resistors - 199-1697
• Dedicated Chassis earth
• Mains & HT switches
• Mains & Ohm Selectors have been cleaned & re-tensioned

• Set up with Bias to correct spec
• Full health check and component test
• PAT Tested.

Pre Amp Valves: ECC83S - 12AX7 - JJ Branded( V2 & V3) - V1 Possibly Marshall

Power Valves: Marshall Branded EL34 B's - VLVE-00087

Cosmetic: Original headshell, feet and logo. The Handle and some tolex looks to have been replaced at some point.

Mains voltage selector - 110v, 120v & 240v - so can be used worldwide.
