Exceptional , brand new thinline body in 1 piece Swamp Ash and MEGA lightweight ( 1.12 kg . ...see photo .....and that is in paint too ). Body was originally made by boutique 'Guitarbuild' joinery in Lincoln for SS type thinline with rear controls. At ' The Luthier's Loft' workshop , we modded the body to accept HH pickups by routing the top and glueing in a swamp ash cover to the rear. The cover is barely visible ...even with this superlight nitro finish. The colour is Faded Fiesta Red over Vintage White and has been lightly aged . The topcoat has only recently been sprayed so will require approx 4 weeks before lacquer checking is possible. The grain is still very prominent as the nitro is ultrathin.
Swamp Ash bodies of this weight and in 1 piece are getting very rare and hence, very expensive. Bodies heavier than this are selling for £400 + from the same joinery ...and the paint finish would add another £100 + too , of course.
Included is a choice of either parchment or torty pickguard ( both brand new but torty has been lightly aged).
The body and 'guard will be securely packed and posted free with tracking by Royal Mail.
