Up for sale is a beautiful, 100% all-original 1974 Rogers Dyna-Sonic 5x14" Chrome-Over-Brass (COB) snare drum.

** Now includes Pearl Roadster / D-1000 Series Drum Throne – Heavy Duty Spindle Base and Vintage Pearl Double-Braced Heavy-Duty Snare Drum Stand (1980s).

This drum belonged to my father, who passed away recently. He took wonderful care of it, and it has been stored safely in a smoke free home environment.

It comes from the highly regarded Fullerton, California production era. Serial number #48102 dates it precisely to late 1974, making it one of the very final production batches to feature the classic oval "Custom Built" script badge before Rogers permanently transitioned to the square "Big R" foil labels.

Condition Notes:

The drum is in completely functional, unmodified condition. The hardware is smooth, and the throw off operates perfectly. Cosmestically, the chrome retains an exceptional mirror shine with only very minor, standard vintage pitting across the shell and lugs as shown in the photos. There are no modifications, extra holes, or missing pieces.

This is a phenomenal, plug and play piece for collectors and recording drummers alike who want the unmistakable crisp, choke-free articulation of a true vintage Dyna-Sonic.
