Marshall 1960A (angled) lead guitar cab with Celestion greenback reissue speakers.

Original 1978 4×12 16 ohm cab containing its original Blackback ‘Hendrix’ speakers with Kurt Muller cones. The cab is in good shape overall with some damage to the tolex towards the bottom (not substantial). It still contains the original quartet of Celestion G12H-30 T1281 ‘Hendrix’ speakers with original cones. I have not removed these but there appears to be no damage, rubbing other issues.

These 1982a model cabs are similar to the 1960a but were uprated to handle 120W. This one appears to be in original condition, including the grill cloth. Black grill cloth was introduced around 1979 in the US but earlier - perhaps 75-76 in the UK so it is correct for a 1978 UK cab.

This cab came with a JMP 2203 head that appears to have an identical date, so I strongly suspect that these have been partners since they were new. I would much prefer to keep the head and cab together and will be open to offers for both together on that basis.

Needless to say this is an amazing sounding cab and an increasingly rare opportunity to find a quad of these highly rated speakers.
