REPAIRS, TUNING & SERVICE:
I repair, tune and refurbish musical instruments full-time for a living. Specialising in harmonicas and accordions for Hohner for many years in Australia, I now work on accordion repairs and sell custom made Italian accordions for clients from all around Australia.
I have a passion for traditional roots music and the instruments that accompany those styles. In my musical life as I come across instruments I enjoy saving and restoring them to the best condition possible for others to play and enjoy.
My company, Reedworks, was setup in 2020 after 25 years of working solo as sole-trader. Contact me if you would like to buy an accordion or harmonica, made exactly how you would like it. Shipping Policy
I will carefully pack and ship with tracking to the listed regions with my own insurance so your instrument is protected for a safe arrival.
Return Policy
New Items
Returnable within 3 days of delivery.
Used & Vintage Items
Returnable within 7 days of delivery.
General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
Any warranties offered are to be assessed by Reedworks upon inspection in the Reedworks workshop.
Warranties cover faults in workmanship of materials and parts. Broken reeds, or out of tune reeds for harmonicas and accordion due to playing and wear, are not covered by warranty. Any unauthorised repairs or disassembly of instruments will void your warranty guarantee.
Used accordions have 3 month warranty.
New accordions have 1 year warranty.
Used harmonicas are sold as is and as described.
New harmonica reed plates have a 3-day return policy if they don't fit or are the wrong key. They are not covered by warranty if you fracture a reed from excessive bending, as per normal harmonica manufacturers' warranty policies.
If you have a problem or a question, contact Tony at Reedworks. Often the issue can be resolved without having to return the item.
