South Shore Guitar Boutique is a shop in Long Island, New York, dedicated to showcasing the best guitar, amplifier, and effects pedal builders from around the world, as well as providing an intimate and comfortable place for musicians to experience and purchase these rare and unique instruments. Think of us as a rotating gallery of fine handcrafted instruments. We can even help you custom order an instrument from any of the extraordinary builders we work with.
Our shop was born from a life-long love and fascination for vintage and handmade guitars and gear. We handpick each of our products with an emphasis on craftsmanship, quality, and environmental sustainability. While big-box music stores stock mostly run-of-the-mill, mass-produced products, we search the world for the most awe-inspiring, tonally pleasing, great playing, and meticulously built guitars, amplifiers and effect pedals and bring them directly to you. We understand that each player has their own distinct playing style and expression, and it is our goal to satisfy even the most sophisticated and demanding musician. We are musicians ourselves and understand the importance of first impressions when it comes to buying gear. If we wouldn't play it, we won't put it in our shop. CONUS SHIPPING
We offer free shipping on selected products within the continental U.S.
Please contact us before purchasing if you have any questions.
Our primary shipping vendor is UPS ground.
For small accessories, or non-continental US customers, we may also use the United States Postal Service.
Expedited Orders
We will upgrade the shipping delivery method to 2-day, or overnight (if applicable) upon request (charges will apply).

Our primary shipping vendor is UPS , USPS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST AT ADDITIONAL COST.
International Orders
Our primary shipping vendor is UPS. USPS airmail express with insurance (which includes a tracking number) may be requested (additional charges may apply). The United States Postal Service has a $500 limit for insurance for certain countries. Some manufacturers restrict sales outside of the US. Please email us before placing your order if you have any questions.
(International buyers, please note: Import duties, charges and taxes (typically collected upon delivery or pickup) are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your customs office prior to buying to determine what these additional costs will be.)

Orders will be shipped within 48 hours after payment has been received and cleared.

Orders should arrive within 2-5 days in the US, and 1-2 weeks for international orders.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, .as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
