🚀 How fast do you ship?
We ship daily Monday - Friday (closed weekends). Please allow 1 - 5 business days for safe packing depending on the item and order workload. Vintage/used items are often re-tested before shipment to ensure proper function and may add additional handling time. Expedited shipping may be available for additional cost, please inquire before purchasing for faster shipping options. Large items like consoles and tape machines that require professional crating and freight shipping require additional handling time, typically 2 weeks to ship.
Within the USA, small items like effect pedals typically ship Fedex Priority (2 business days) while larger items ship Fedex Home Delivery / Ground. Any shipments above $500 value will require signature and insurance on the shipment. Orders to US territories, Alaska or Hawaii may incur additional shipping charges beyond the normal USA shipping costs shown in listings.
We can only ship to the address listed on file on your order. We pack SUPER SAFE so you never have to worry about items arriving damaged. The shipping costs may look higher because we pay for professional packing and use professional packing materials. 📦
❓ I'm an international buyer, can you ship internationally?
Yes we can ship worldwide, typically with Fedex International Economy (5-7 business days in transit to most countries) or Fedex International Priority (3 business days in transit). We may require additional information for international shipments such as your tax ID (required by certain countries) and Fedex account number (required by certain countries for import). We must declare the item for full value per Reverb's policy and regulations and cannot declare for a lower value. Importing buyers will be responsible for any associated customs duty and import tax. The online shipping costs on listings for worldwide shipments are not always accurate for each country, and there may be additional payment due if the shipping costs are higher.
❓ Do you accept offers?
- For vintage/used items, if the listing does not have a "Make an offer" feature, then it likely means we are not accepting offers.
- For brand new items, sometimes we have discounts available, so please contact us.
- For most items in our Reverb store, we have to be firm on the prices to cover our item acquisition costs, staff costs and Reverb's seller fees.
❓ Do you accept trades?
Apologies but trades are not something we are able to offer with Reverb. Due to Reverb's platform policies, trades are strictly not allowed. Please note that all our messages are monitored and read by Reverb, and when you message through Reverb you have to buy through Reverb at the listed price per Reverb's policy.
❓ Do you offer local pickup?
We do not accept local pick-ups with our Reverb listings at this time due to Reverb's policies. We are only able to ship orders with our Reverb listings and when you message through Reverb you have to buy through Reverb at the listed price with the options provided through Reverb per Reverb's policy.
❓ I have a specific question about an item.
Please read through the listing description and check out the listing photos. We try to be as accurate as possible and include as much information as we have in the listing.
- For new item specifications, please consult with the manufacturer.
- For vintage/used item operational / features / specification questions, please check the manual, which often can be found online.
- For most vintage/used items we do have additional photos. If you are ready to purchase the item and absolutely need to see more photos, please message us and we can upload additional photos through Reverb messages.
❓ Who serviced your vintage/used item? What is the functional condition?
- For a vintage/used item's functional condition, please read through the listing description. We describe items as accurately as possible, including if we performed a full test or if we only did a partial test and if the item is fully functional or there are any functional issues we found. We also will mention if we did any servicing. RetroGearShop has three full-time experienced professional repair technicians in-house for pro audio recording gear, synthesizers, amps and effects, and a couple local specialists we partner with for microphones. A majority of the items that we do list as serviced have been serviced in-house or by our local network. If any item was serviced outside of our shop by a specialist, we generally mention who specifically performed the servicing in the listing description if we have that information.
❓ Do you have video or audio samples of your equipment available?
- Yes, we do have audio and/or test videos on almost all our vintage/used inventory for our records, but unfortunately Reverb policy does not allow or support any way of sharing or uploading audio/video files, so we have no way of sharing those through Reverb. So unfortunately, we cannot share any of our audio/video links or files related to any of our Reverb listings with Reverb.
❓ I see an old listing that has sold, do you have more available?

❓ Do you accept returns?
Sorry at this time we do not accept returns with our Reverb store. The items are still guaranteed to arrive as described. If you have any issues with your order, please contact us.
For all shipments: Inspect the packaging on arrival and notate with photos any possible signs of damage to the outer box. Open the box carefully and not destructively and also keep all the original packaging box and materials in case you need to do a return or we need to file a damage claim with the carrier. Any disposal or destruction of packing material may void any returns/warranty/repairs offered and/or add additional processing costs.
