Electrical Engineer Quentin Meek is Orford Audio's chief designer. He is also a well known Canadian Recording Engineer who has been recording, mixing, mastering and designing audio equipment since the early 1970s. His first professional recordings were done on a (state-of-the-art at-the-time), 1 inch Scully 8 track recorder! A wonderful machine with amazing sonic qualities. Now his recording projects are done with computer-based DAWs combined with assorted analog gear. Quentin also has over 12 years of experience writing real-time Digital Signal Processing (DSP) software.
Orford Audio designs are based on a rich background in analog and digital audio processing.
