Music Mart was founded circa 1984 in San Diego, CA. We are a unique, professional boutique music store filled with top quality instruments & gear. Having been at at this Solana Beach location for 16 years, but have been serving San Diego's musical instrument needs for over 30 years.
We are a full service music store, with hands on customer service and an expert staff with many years in the business, all pro players and technicians, also incorporating a guitar repair shop and lesson rooms for teachers & students.
Some of our specialty brands include a full selection of Maton guitars from Australia. We are one of just a few official dealers in the entire country that carry them and the only dealer on the West Coast. Some additional guitar brands we carry are: Taylor, Martin, Heritage, Yamaha, G&L, Mesa Boogie Amps, Ampeg, Roland/Boss amps.
We also are a fully stocked pro drum shop, featuring brands like SONOR, DW , Ludwig Drums and Yamaha drumkits, Roland Electronics and a full selection of Meinl Percussion products. In addition we carry Roland and Yamaha keyboards, effects pedals by T.C. Electronics, Boss, Exotic, Dunlop and much more!
We encourage our customers to come in, test out the instruments, have fun and hang out. Music Mart is "Where it's okay to play."
