Rocking the Shack is a small guitar repair shop in the hills of western Massachusetts which is located in a muti-purpose Straw Bale barn consisting of a woodworking shop, mosaic studio and guitar shop.
We pride ourselves in offering quality working beautiful instruments for sale. We are great communicators and the best packers and shippers.
Nothing leaves here that is not in a case, mostly hardshell cases. And these days besides providing cases, we now are installing strap locks on all electric guitars being sold.
We do complete set-ups!
A complete set-up, (a $90.00 -$125.00 value), includes adjustment of the truss rod, string height adjustment (action), Nut adjustment, pickup height adjustment w/pickup poles radius set, adjustment to the tremolo and intonation set. Along with a set-up we do if needed, a fretdress which includes precision leveling, re-crowning, sanding and polishing of the instrument's frets.
So please order a set-up if the guitar you are getting has not had one and you know what you want or just need it done.
You may be one of the lucky one's that has a set-up included in the sale. But a warning, not all of the listings here have the complete set-up done! And we only do them at a customers request, or when time allows on a guitar we feel need one before we list it for sale.
We do not have "Make an Offer" in our listing because we price our guitars at the best prices we can considering the extra work and custom parts we install. We value our time and of course like to get paid for it!
We work hard and give that extra bit to our customers.
We feel that music frees us and connects us. It is our universal language and it binds us as brothers and sisters!
