Bill’s Music is a family owned business started by Bill Higgins in 1965. We are celebrating our 60th anniversary!
Bill started off giving guitar lessons in a small studio during the time of the Rolling Stones & The Beatles and has grown into one of the largest musical instrument retailers on the East Coast. Bill’s Music is a full-line instrument store in Catonsville, MD specializing instrument sales, rentals, repairs, lessons, sound consultations, trade-ins & the purchase of used gear.
At any given time, Bill’s Music stocks over 2000 guitars & basses by such trusted brands as Fender, CF Martin, Taylor, Ibanez, Dean, ESP, Gibson, Epiphone, Takamine, Ovation, BC Rich, PRS, Rickenbacker, Pioneer and many more. Over 250 drumsets line the walls of Bill’s vast showroom by top names like Tama, Pearl, DW, Pacific and Gretsch. Bill’s also carries the latest technology in Keyboards & Electronics, DJ & Lighting, Pro Sound & Recording and more! Bill’s Brass & Woodwind and Bluegrass departments are second to none with instruments ranging from student models to those for the seasoned professional.

Bill's Music ships using USPS or UPS and insures all packages. Items are packaged professionally to avoid damage in shipping. You will receive a tracking number when your item is shipped so that you will know when to expect delivery. Over-sized or Over-weight items may incur additional shipping fees and you will be notified of this prior to completing the transaction.

If you are not satisfied with your item(s) or if you believe you have received a defective product you may return it for a refund of the purchase price, a Bill’s Music in-house credit, or exchange for another product. If you wish to return an item that you purchased from Bill's Music on Reverb.com, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your item \Return requests must be made within 14 days of receiving your order and items must be returned to Bill’s Music within 14 days of receipt. If your purchase was eligible for free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from your credit or refund. You are responsible for shipping your item back to Bill's Music.
Merchandise Return Instructions
- Items must be shipped in the original boxes with all shipping materials, accessories, manuals, cables, etc.
- Your item must be in the same condition as it was when it arrived to you
- Items that are packaged must be returned un-opened, unused with no broken seal
- In the case of a repair or replacement, you may be asked to send your item to a Warranty Repair Facility that is local to you or to return it directly to the Factory if it is covered under the Manufacturer's Warranty.
Items that are not eligible for return are:
- Products of a personal nature like in-ear monitors, mouthpieces, harmonicas, reeds
- Special Order, Discontinued, B-Stock, Clearance or Close-Outs
- Instrument parts and accessories such as tubes, raw speakers, pickups, electronics, tuning gears
- Educational media such as books, videos, dvd’s, cd’s, cd-rom or software, etc.
- Oversized/Overweight items
If your purchase was eligible for free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from your credit or refund. The only exception to this rule is if the wrong item was shipped to you or if the item has a manufacturer defect and is not functional. Returns or exchanges on some items may incur a 15% restocking fee. This includes both domestic and international orders.
