The Warm Audio WA-87 is based on one of the most desirable versions of a legendary studio condenser microphone, using premium components and coming in at an incredibly affordable price. Built around an exacting recreation of the classic K87 capsule, a premium CineMag transformer and Fairchild FETs, the WA-87 encompasses all of the rich, detailed sound you'd expect from a vintage '87. Three switchable polar patterns, a -10dB pad and 80Hz high-pass filter make the WA-87 versatile enough for any and all sources and applications, vocals and acoustic instruments especially.
