Reinforce and record acoustic guitar, percussion, piano and more with this affordable, super-versatile small-diaphragm condenser from Shure's SM series.Shure SM137 Instrument MicrophoneThe SM137 has a frequency response that combines the best of both worlds -- a smooth high-end and a tightly controlled low-end. Made using an ultra-thin diaphragm, this mic is what is needed when picking up the subtle nuances of an instrument. Providing a 15 dB pad, Shure's SM137 has natural sound reproduction for quiet acoustic and high volume applications.Road worthy, don't forget to take this mike on tour. Made with rugged nearly indestructable chassis, Shure's SM series of mics were built to take the punishment of night-after-night gigging.Features:- Ultra-thin diaphragm for smooth high end and tight, controlled low end- 15dB pad for performance consistency across a wider range of high SPL sources- Low self-noise and transformerless preamplifier circuitry- Cardioid polar pattern Specs:Cartridge Type: Permanently Biased CondenserFrequency Response: 20- to 20,000 HzDirectional Polar Pattern: CardioidOutput Impedance: 150 ohms (actual)Attenuation Switch: 0 dB or 15 dB attenuationPhantom Power: 48 Vdc +/- 4 Vdc (positive pins 2 and 3)Current Drain: 5.2 mA typical at 48 VdcCommon Mode Rejection: >50 dB, 20 Hz to 20 kHzPolarity: Positive pressure on diaphragm produces positive voltage on output pin 2 relative to pin 3Sensitivity: -41 dBV/Pa (typical, at 1000 Hz; 1 Pa = 94 dB SPL)Self-noise: 19 dB (typical, equivalent SPL; A-weighted (IEC 651))Maximum SPL: @ 1000 Hz- 5000 ohms load (Attenuator on): 150 (165 dB)- 2500 ohms load (Attenuator on): 144 (159) dB- 1000 ohms load (Attenuator on): 139 (154 dB)Output Clipping Level:- 5000 ohms load: 15 dBV- 2500 ohms load: 9 dBV- 1000 ohms load: 3 dBVDynamic Range: (Attenuator On)- 5000 ohms load: 133 (136) dB- 2500 ohms load: 128 (130 dB)- 1000 ohms load: 122 (125) dBSignal to Noise Ratio: 75 dBDimensions:- Diameter: 0.95 inches (24 mm)- Length: 6.375 inches (162 mm)Weight: 6.9 oz (195 grams) zZounds is an authorized dealer of Shure products.
