About this listing
There is nothing ordinary about Rob Scallon. When he isn't djenting his audiences' faces off, he designed 3 guitars to flip the script and let the audience djent his face off. Uniquely and innovatively designed, the Rob Scallon signature models are available in 6,7, or 8 string options, which allow drop-tuned djenters and traditional players of any persuasion to indulge in a gorgeously crafted, dark-roasted creation. The highest string retains a traditional 25.5" scale on all models, a familiar feel to any 6-string player. The 7 & 8 string models ease into a multiscale, but only on the lowest strings- keeping tension tight for players who like the lowest of the low ends (as Rob does with a Drop A preference). All while being extremely comfortable for anyone's hands to hit every note with precision & ease.Equipped with Rob Scallon Signature pickups, designed by the man himself, humbucking and single-coil tones are readily available at the push-pull of your tone knob, providing guitar tones as warm and reliable as your morning Cup o' Joe Rob.A swamp ash body, neck thru construction, mahogany 3-pc carbon fiber reinforced "C" shape neck, Hipshot hardtail bridge and a GraphTech XL Black Tusq nut provides the perfect, rock-solid foundation. The Hipshot Grip-lock tuners, 24 Jumbo frets adorned upon an ebony fretboard, and a buttery smooth satin finish is the sugar on top. Fill up your cup with the new Rob Scallon Signature models, its his "favorite guitar.ever".Specs:- Guitar Color: Satin Dark Roast- Fretboard: Ebony- Neck Material: Mahogany 3-pc with Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Rods- Inlays: Pearloid Reverse Dots- Side Dot Markers: Pearloid Dots- Scale: 27" (686MM) 25.5" (648MM) Multiscale- Neck Shape: "C"- Thickness: 1st Fret- .846 (21.5MM), 12th Fret- .866" (22MM)- Frets: 24 Jumbo- Fretboard Radius: 20" (508MM)- Nut: Graph Tech XL Black Tusq- Nut Width: 2.12" (54MM)- Truss Rod: 2-Way Adjustable Rod with 5/32" (4MM) Allen Nut- Body Material: Swamp Ash- Construction: Neck-Thru with Ultra Access- Top Contour: Arched Top- Bridge Pickup: Schecter Diamond '78 Special Rob Scallon- Neck Pickup: Schecter Diamond '78 Rob Scallon- Controls: Volume/Tone (Push-Pull)/3-Way Switch- Hardware Color: Satin Black- Tuners: Hipshot Grip-Lock- Bridge: Hipshot Hardtail (.125) with String Thru Body- Knobs: Metal Dome with Set Screw- Strings: Ernie Ball 8 EX #2624 (.009-.080)- Case: 1620 SGR-1C C-Shape Hardcase (Sold Separately)
