The Roland TD-1K Electronic V-Drum Kit is an entry-level set designed as either an entry into the world of electronic kits or an inexpensive option to have around the apartment. The TD-1K emulates a full kit with a crash/ride/hats cymbal section and full complement of snare/toms/kick controlling one of 15 selectable programmed kits labeled according to genre (rock, blues, EDM, etc.). While not as responsive as more expensive models, this offers plenty of bang for your buck at around $500.
