Such an amazing sampler / drum machine / analog modeling synthesizer / sequencer / recording studio / effects unit / full - blown DAW in - a - box. There's so much to say about these legendary DAWS, but you're better off looking them up yourself to get the full picture. They're an institution into themselves. Suffice to say that you can start with nothing and turn out completely world - class mastered productions on them (burnt to CD, if you like...or just in wav / mp3 format) with nothing else. They're built like tanks and last forever.I've included a ton of personal upgrades including replacement of the HDD with a flash memory / SD card adapter so that you can have whatever disk size you want and quickly switch to different disks. In addition, I've installed a mouse / VGA port so that you get plus in your own monitor and mouse to use it even more like a desk top DAW.I've upgraded the RAM to 512MB and added a card to the OP slot that gives you additional audio and midi ports.Finally, I've added a really nice skin to it to brighten up the UI. You can just peel it off if you don't like it, but I think it makes it look more modern and clean.No real problems to speak of. Some of the knobs have a little bit of play in them... nothing that will affect use at all though.These things are heavy so shipping isn't cheap. I'm sorry about that.
