About this listing
Paiste Rude Novo China Cymbal 20" – Powerful, Versatile Percussion Voice
The Paiste Rude Novo China Cymbal delivers a raw, cutting sound with exceptional versatility for modern drummers. This 20" cymbal combines bright, metallic tones with heavy mid-range harmonics and a distinctive sizzling character that cuts through any mix. Its unique inverted design positions both the bell and downward-turned edge within easy reach, allowing you to access traditional china articulation and crash-like responses from a single instrument. The result is a full, slightly trashy voice with powerful projection—ideal for rock, fusion, and experimental percussion applications.
Engineered for responsive, comfortable playing, the Rude Novo offers a silky feel despite its aggressive sonic profile. The wide frequency range and fairly clean harmonic blend make it an excellent choice for drummers seeking an exotic cymbal that functions as both a dedicated china and supplementary crash.
Whether you're layering complex soundscapes or adding percussive punctuation to your kit, this cymbal delivers the depth and character that professional and serious amateur musicians demand.
