The Neumann KM54 is considered the gold standard acoustic guitar microphone. It also shines on a number of acoustic instruments. It uses a single side nickel capsule (true cardioid!) and the famous Telefunken AC701K tube. The KM254 is the very same microphone, except that it uses a larger connector, which increases its rejection to radio frequency interferences. This microphone is all original. Its completely tested and perfect. It works and sounds great. Capsule was reskinned by the master Siegfried Thiersch in Germany and the tube is original and very quiet. The body tube has some handling marks but is free of any dents and is pretty clean. This is a 60+ years old mic.The microphone comes with an original Neumann jewelry case with a different serial number. A new modern Schaal regulated power supply with Sommer (Germany) cabling, original Neumann clip, and waterproof case. This set is ready to be used in studio.I can ship worldwide.Local pick up in Nashville available.
