This custom build features a hand-selected 3A Flame Maple top over a lightweight, resonant Swamp Ash body, accented by 3-ply White ABS/Gray Pearloid binding and a natural satin back finish. At its core is Mayones' signature 11-piece neck-through-body design—crafted from a rigid lamination of Maple, Mahogany, Wenge, and Amazakoe. This multi-laminate neck ensures rock-solid stability under extreme touring conditions while transferring acoustic string energy directly into the body.
For players who prefer a streamlined, unobstructed control surface, this build is customized with a single Master Volume control (positioned in the standard tone location) and a 5-way blade switch. Driven by Mayones VELVETRONE pickups—the high-output Ironside in the bridge for tight, articulate rhythm work and the smooth Solium in the neck for fluid lead runs—wired with a Bourns 500K pot and Mayones Treble Bleed circuit, it preserves pristine high-end response even at reduced output levels.
