The 000-28 Modern Deluxe is where Martin throws out the rulebook and rewrites it with premium tonewoods, hidden tech, and a whole lot of golden-era class. If you’re after vintage 000 charm but with boutique-level appointments and next-gen playability, this is the one.At first glance, it’s pure Martin elegance: Solid Sitka spruce top with tight, even grain, paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides, bound in European flamed maple, with that understated old-school vibe. But under the hood? It's loaded.The top is treated with Martin’s VTS (Vintage Tone System) for that broken-in responsiveness right out of the case. Inside, the composite carbon fiber bridge plate and ultra-light titanium truss rod subtly shave weight and increase resonance you’ll feel it as much as you hear it.The neck is a Modified V with High Performance Taper, carved from genuine mahogany, with a sleek-as-glass ebony fingerboard and natural protein glue construction for max tonal transfer.
