About this listing

no scratches or dings, has all strings, seems to be in great condition! The guitar features two black soapbar pickups. This model originally shipped with noiseless P-100 stacked humbuckers from factory, though many owners choose to swap them out for traditional P-90 single-coils over time. Features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays, vintage-style tuning keys, and an attached Bigsby B7 Vibrato Tailpiece.

Overview

Slightly higher-end than the Les Paul Jr but still considered a student-level guitar, the Les Paul Special was introduced in 1955 with a pair of P-90 pickups. More recent models follow the same basic template with the same slab body, bound neck with dot inlays, and electronic configuration.

Wood Composition: Mahogany body, Mahogany neck, Rosewood fretboard
