You are looking at a 2021 Fender Limited Edition Vintera Road Worn '50s Telecaster Electric Guitar. Iconic Lake Placid Blue Finish. The limited Road Worn models are enhanced with a new subtle aging process combining light checking, gentle wear patterns and a semi-gloss finish, while maintaining the authentic broken-in feel players love about vintage Fenders. The ‘50s “U”-shape maple neck with 7.25" radius maple fingerboard and vintage-tall frets provides supreme comfort and outstanding feel. A vintage-style Tele bridge with three brass barrel saddles gives this Telecaster it's characteristic twang, while vintage-style tuning machines provide original-era aesthetics, rock-solid performance and tuning stability. From The Web:In 1950, Leo Fender permanently changed the musical landscape with the development of the Fender Telecaster guitar. This guitar, unlike any that came before it, featured two hot single coil pickups and a funky single-cutaway body - and audiences loved it. This Fender Vintera Road Worn '50s Telecaster celebrates Leo's remarkable achievement, and it comes equipped with many of the same specs and features as the first Teles ever made.Like the original '50s Telecasters, the body of this Tele has been carefully cut from a balanced-sounding alder body. This gives it a strong, clear tone, with beefy mids, excellent lows, and some added high-end sizzle. It's also received a meticulously relic'd nitrocellulose lacquer finish, giving it the look and feel of a well-gigged guitar you might find tucked away in your parent's attic. The neck on this guitar is pleasantly stout, courtesy of its thick '50s U-shaped neck profile. This gives it a substantial yet natural in-hand feel, and the mass of the neck provides your tone with a big boost in sustain. Fender didn't mess around with the hardware on this guitar, either. Fit with a vintage-style 3-barrel-saddle bridge and tuning machines, this guitar has no shortage of original-era aesthetics - and they provide an impressive amount of tuning stability and sustain. If you're a classic Tele aficionado, then you'll feel right at home with the hot-wound single-coil pickups that come stock with this guitar. These pickups have a spot-on '50s era Tele tone, but with some modern upgrades. With their formvar-coated wire and Alnico II and III magnets in the neck and bridge respectively, these pickups are punchy and twangy, just like you'd expect from a 50's Tele.Plug in this Fender Vintera Road Worn '50s Telecaster, and you'll feel like you've been transported right back to the golden era of rock and roll.Specs:Series: VinteraCountry Of Origin: MexicoBody: AlderBody Finish: Road Worn Nitrocellulose LacquerBody Shape: TelecasterNeck Material: MapleNeck Finish: Road Worn Nitrocellulose LacquerNeck Shape: Thick '50s "U"Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm)Fingerboard: MapleFingerboard Radius: 7.25" (184.1 mm)Number of Frets: 21Frets Size: Vintage TallString Nut: Synthetic BoneNut Width: 1.650" (42 mm)Position Inlays: Black DotBridge Pickup: Vintage Style '50s Single-Coil Hot TeleNeck Pickup: Vintage Style '50s Single-Coil Hot TeleControls: Master Volume, Master TonePickup Switching: 3-Position Blade: Position 1. This is a "Road Worn" Finish which means it is a Factory "Relic" Finish. The entire guitar has been aged to give it that look of a 40 year old guitar that has been played. There is lacquer checking on both sides of the body along with numerous small pencil point dings in the finish. The Back has some chips and edge wear. (See pictures #4, #5, #9). The Neck and Fingerboard have that worn look that feels great when you play it. A well broke in kind of feel and look. (See pictures #3, #6). The Headstock has that slightly faded look along with some lacquer checking also. (See pictures #7, #8). Overall, a very solid Tele that is just dripping in "Mojo" and is very authentic looking.
