About this listing
for sale is a vintage Fender Super Reverb from either 1968 or 1969 that looks to have been converted from 4x10 to 2x10 by a previous owner. transformers are dated 68, but the inside of the chassis says 69. equipped with new Jupiter M10C 50 watt 4 ohm ceramic speakers and a Mojotone spring reverb. the amp circuit itself is all original as far as I can tell, with all NOS vintage tubes, and was likely recapped at some point. Please see photos of the inside of the amp. sounds and looks beautiful. the reverb and tremolo both work. There is no footswitch to activate the tremolo but the reverb works without it. there’s some occasional crackle when turning some knobs that could be probably resolved with some contact cleaner. the grillcloth and tolex also look original so I think someone did a very professional job at taking the original 4x10 cab and cutting it down to a lighter, more portable 2x10 that looks like it could have been straight from the Fender factory. still gets plenty loud with two speakers. cosmetically, there are some minor scratches and dings but overall looks very nice for it's age. most notably, there is an approximately 2 inch scratch in the tolex on the top which you can see in the photos.please let me know if you have any question. thanks!
