About this listing
Up for sale is a wildly unique and stellar-playing Fender Pawn Shop '72, crafted in Japan with exceptional build quality. This is part of Fender’s short-lived, imaginative series that imagined "fictional" Fender guitars from the 1970s that never actually existed. It features a semi-hollow alder Stratocaster body with a bound "F"-hole, paired with a smooth '70s-style "U"-shape maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Tonal versatility is massive here: it's loaded with a Fender Wide Range humbucker in the neck and a punchy Enforcer humbucker in the bridge. Instead of a standard toggle/tone setup, it utilizes a master volume and a rotary pickup blend control (with a center detent) to seamlessly mix the pickups.Key SpecsBody Style: Semi-hollow Stratocaster with bound F-hole (Alder)Neck: Maple with '70s "U" shape and bullet truss rodFretboard: Rosewood, 9.5" radius, 21 medium jumbo fretsScale Length: 25.5"Pickups: Wide Range Humbucking (Neck) & Enforcer Humbucking (Bridge)Controls: Master Volume, Rotary Blend Control with center detentBridge: '70s-style Hard-Tail Stratocaster bridgeTuners: Fender '70s-style "F" tunersFinish: 3-Color SunburstConditionCosmetic: Excellent to very clean condition with only minor light surface playwear.
