This is a super cool vintage Fender Musicmaster II that plays and sounds great! The date stamp on the neck heel reads January 1964, the serial dates to 1965. This guitar is all original, and has been very well kept. It has aged beautifully and is ready for many more years of enjoyment!
This example is in great shape for its age. This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years as expected from a vintage instrument that includes checking as well as various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. Some of the chips appear to have been filled with either a white out or paint marker. The Fender logo on the headstock shows light scratching. The frets play great with plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is all original.
