Fender 1965 Deluxe Reverb Amplifier. In very good overall condition with a recent bill of health by a vintage amp tech in advance of listing. No mods. New caps, Rectifier tube, a few other minor misc items. All correct spec components over the years. Everything - chassis serial number and date stamped inside of the chassis confirm it is an early 1965 build. Speaker, Reverb Tank and Foot-switch are all original. Component date codes as pictured, also confirm it to be an early 1965 Deluxe Reverb build. AC cord was replaced in 2022. All dated within weeks before or after new years 1965.Sounds absolutely amazing as you would expect! Reverb is strong, original foot-switch still functions perfectly. Vibrato also strong. Balance and full response across the Reverb, Speed and Intensity controls. Actually same can be said for the Volumes and EQ controls. the tech tuned this one up perfectly. The cabinet was replaced by the original owner at some point, but still a true Fender cab and unsure of when the tilt-back legs were added. Some minor tolex wear from the legs near the pivot screw, but nothing major. No idea whether it was the condition or some other reason for the cab swap, but from what we can tell, it is an early 70s cabinet.Not sure a non original cabinet has much, if any affect on value, but if you have a compelling argument I’m willing to listen (but maybe not agree lol) and list price could be adjusted accordingly or I’d open it up to an offer. Pricing is in line with several 1965 Deluxe Reverbs recently listed that have sold well. Also included is a practically new vintage styled cover from Coveramps. Shipping cost as quoted is somewhat of a ballpark number for a worst case scenario distance, but I will say that I prefer to ship FedEx and recently they have jacked their prices up significantly, There are alternatives, but FedEx has always proven to be reliable and trouble free.
