Comprising a classic Nyatoh body and a maple neck, the Tele is finished entirely in black with red hardware accents and chrome-plated hardware. Fitted with two DiMarzio humbuckers and an arcade-style kill switch, the John 5 Phantom Tele delivers hot humbucker tones with modern crunch when plugged into an amp.DiMarzio D Activator Pickups and Floyd Rose FRTS2000 Double Locking 2-Point TremoloTwo DiMarzio D Activator humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions deliver crisp, singing tones with pronounced mids and high output, which, as with active pickups, cut through powerfully. These dual-coil pickups impress with their clear string articulation and offer ample headroom for dynamic sounds. For rapid stutter effects, an arcade-style kill switch is located beneath the bridge on the anodised pickguard and control panel.Reliable hardwareWhilst the special 2-point Floyd Rose, in combination with the Floyd Rose locking nut, guarantees rock-solid tuning, it also allows for some seriously intense tremolo effects. Furthermore, the strings on the John 5 Phantom Tele run over a sturdy maple neck and the locking saddle.
