Overview
The Danelectro Standard, also known as the Shorthorn, came in black, bronze or blonde. The pickguard changed from a kidney shape to a seal shape after 1959. It was offered with one or two pickups, with the two-pickup specimens valued slightly higher due to their association with Jimmy Page (note: his model was black, two pickups, seal pickguard with no trem).
