BOSS DR-5 DR. RHYTHM SECTION - DRUM + BACKING MACHINE ..A WHOLE BAND IN ONE BOX
.
PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING .. this DR-5 is FULLY FUNCTIONAL - it is NOT a dead unit - but it needs a small amount of electronics attention + has parts missing:
• BACKUP BATTERY NEEDS CHANGING - the DR-5 commonly shows "BATT Low" on power-up. A SPARE BATTERY IS INCLUDED (CR2032, pictured).
• The battery (BT1) is SOLDERED in, not clipped, so fitting it needs a soldering iron + some experience. Only buy if you can do this yourself, or will take it to a specialist who knows how to fit the DR-5 battery.
• 4 SCREWS ARE MISSING from the back of the chassis - you will need to find screws to fit.
• The BATTERY DOOR on the back is MISSING (see photos).
• I opened the case before to change the battery, but I'm not an electronics person + I don't have the tools to solder it, so it is sold as described here.
• Your purchase is on the condition that you understand all of the above.
