DW Drums have long been one of the United States' premier drum companies. This year, they're launching the first of an annual initiative that will help bring music education into schools and spark the imaginations of future drummers everywhere.
To raise awareness and funds for the program, they're doing what they do best: building some incredible drums.
The Limited Edition DW Collector's Series Project Timeline Snare is an exclusive release for the DW Music Foundation.
It's a 6"X14", 10-ply all maple shell, finished with Ivory Ebony Exotic with Piano Black lacquer bands. There will only be 10 of these snares made in 2021, with proceeds going to the newly launched namesake, Project Timeline.
A new program from DW Music Foundation, Project Timeline brings together professional percussionists like Kevin Ricard, Mona Tavakoli, Taku Hirano, and drummer Trevor Lawrence Jr., who will share their skills with students in underprivileged, disadvantaged schools.
Every Black History Month, DW will create a new run of limited-edition snares to help fund Project Timeline initiatives into the future.
