The guitar is a beautiful golden bullion, with the etched bust of Lester‘s image on the maple headstock. Two loud, sweet and punchy sounding P90’s. The only reason this Les Paul is being sold in very good and not excellent condition is due to the strange lacquer checking on the front side (please see photos). There is much documented on the nitro cellulose lacquer and metals used for this finish being brittle and subject to checking.
