The Fender The Twin is a powerhouse of American tube-amp design that brings together sparkling vintage-inspired cleans and a more aggressive, muscular voice. Made in the USA, this all-tube combo delivers a commanding 100 watts of power through two 12-inch Fender speakers, giving every note plenty of headroom, punch, and presence. Clean tones ring out with the familiar Fender clarity and shimmer, while the overdrive channel adds grit and sustain for blues, classic rock, and heavier styles. Whether you’re digging into a dynamic rhythm part or pushing into a saturated lead, the Red Knob Twin has the volume and tonal range to make itself heard.
With two independent channels, The Twin offers a broad palette of sounds without sacrificing hands-on control. Each channel has its own volume, treble, mid, and bass controls, making it easy to shape everything from glassy, open cleans to thick, forward overdrive. A dedicated gain control helps bring the amp’s driven character to life, while presence lets you fine-tune the upper end for added bite or a smoother response. Powered by four 6L6 output tubes and a 12AX7-based preamp section, this combo responds with the weight, warmth, and immediacy that make a loud tube amp such a rewarding instrument in its own right.
Built for serious playing situations, The Twin pairs its substantial output with practical switching and connection options. Hi/Lo output selection, standby, and power controls keep operation straightforward, while four 1/4-inch input jacks provide flexible ways to connect your instrument. A power amp input, preamp output, footswitch connection, and two 1/4-inch output jacks add versatility for integrating the amp into a larger rig or performance setup. Bold, powerful, and unmistakably Fender, The Twin remains a compelling choice for players who want expansive clean headroom, forceful overdrive, and classic all-tube presence in one formidable combo.
