About this listing
Up for sale is an incredible piece of guitar history: a 1958 Fender Pro Amp in the highly coveted, late-50s narrow-panel tweed configuration. The 5E5-A circuit is legendary among player-collectors. It features a robust dual-6L6 power section that closely replicates the iconic preamp architecture of the low-powered Twin and Bandmaster. This amp delivers a uniquely deep, full-bodied low end courtesy of its 15-inch speaker design. It breaks up beautifully into that gritty, harmonically rich, and touch-sensitive overdrive that defined early rock, blues, and country. Whether you are looking for a studio centerpiece or a investment-grade collector piece, this Tweed Pro delivers the definitive golden-era Fender tone.
