La serie 505 fece la sua apparizione nel 1974, questi bei piatti avevano il logo nero ed erano prodotti con la stessa lega dei 2002 (CuSn8). Successivamente furono presentati con il logo verde; uscirono di catalogo nel 1986 e questo esemplare risale al 1983. Una linea di piatti di livello intermedio ma dalle prestazioni superiori alle aspettative
Un china dal timbro brillante, buon volume e sustain breve. Un piatto veramente ben riuscito, se non rarissimo è però non facile da trovare, specie in queste condizioni.
