For sale is a Mark Curry trumpet mouthpiece, size 3BC. This is a great mouthpiece for a player who likes the Bach 3C size but desires a more comfortable rim and better intonation. The BC designation means the cup combines the best of the Bach B and C designs. I find it gives you a much bigger and richer tone. Historically, this was one of Curry’s most popular pieces with players looking for a bigger sound compared the standard 3C. Works great for orchestral and concert band playing, as well as jazz players looking to really fill the room. I believe Curry has cut way back in manufacturing so these will likely become harder to come by. This mouthpiece is in great shape, rim is clean and smooth and backbore is true and round. No blemishes to speak of. Plating has darkened as the pictures show.
