Selling this beautiful vintage Urei/Universal Audio 1178 Stereo Compressor/Limiter.
This unit was fully tested and inspected. Capacitors were all measured and potentiometers were cleaned. This unit works and sounds great.
This 1178 is in incredible shape. Super clean and near mint. The racking holes have some screw marks, which is pretty normal. Other than that, this unit is free of scratches.
The 1178 is a stereo version of the classic 1176 and sounds great on several sources. I normally use these for overheads, room, and drums parallel compression.
