The classic Princeton Reverb in a lighter, more flexible digital package - same tone and feel, with XLR out, IR cab sims, and power scaling for everything from the bedroom to the gig.
We're tube geeks here at The Music Emporium, no question - so when a new digital amp claiming to equal the tone and feel of a real tube amp comes along, we'll admit we're skeptical (okay, we're tone snobs about it). In all seriousness, we're also open-minded which is good, because we'd have missed the splender of the Tone Master series.
The Princeton Reverb has been one of the most quietly beloved amps in Fender's catalog for sixty years - small enough to live happily in the bedroom or studio, loud enough to hold its own on a small stage, and voiced in a way that just sounds like a record the moment you plug in. The Tone Master version captures that character in a digital build that's lighter to carry and easier to set up for the way most players actually work today. The front panel is identical to the tube version, with the same Fender reverb and tremolo that define the original, and the response under your fingers stays close to the all-tube amp it's modeled on.
Around back is where the modern conveniences live. An output power selector gives you full power plus five attenuated settings, so the amp behaves at apartment volume the same way it does on stage. A balanced XLR line out with cabinet IRs makes it studio- or FOH-ready without a mic in front of the speaker, and a mute switch lets you use it silently for direct recording or stage work. A USB port handles firmware updates as Fender releases them.

The Music Emporium has been a fixture of the Boston music community since 1968. We're a shop built by musicians - players, luthiers, photographers, and gear obsessives - and that shapes everything about how we do business.
Every instrument we ship is inspected and set up by our in-house guitar techs before it leaves the shop.
We're a Fender Showcase Dealer, Collings' largest dealer worldwide, and a Martin Custom Shop Expert Dealer. Our showroom is at 165 Massachusetts Ave in Lexington, MA.
Questions about any instrument are always welcome. We're happy to talk gear.
