An excellent shape Craviotto 7X14 snare drum. The shell is a wormy ambrosia maple wood finished in lacquer. The heads are brand new and unplayed.
There are 2 small imperfections on this drum ….see both pics. There is a very small tool mark nick on the reso side bearing edge. And a small nick on the batter bearing edge. The batter edge was caused by me. I accidentally dropped the hoop when I was putting on new heads. Because of the two imperfections, I listed this snare much lower than I normally would.
There are no sound problems or issues because of the imperfections. It was absolutely important to make the next owner aware. I paid $2250 for this snare last year from DCP. So getting a great sounding Craviotto Private Reserve for $1000 off is not normally seen. There is at the time of this listing a used one, same size and wood, no lacquer for $1900.
The unused Craviotto snare bag/case is included. Great sounding snare folks !
