Pearl's version of the Ludwig Acrolite but better! 5.5x14, 10-lug rather than 8, clean chrome steel snare drum- no powder coating to dry out the sound. It sounds great! It's crisp, sensitive, and has the projection of a steel shell without sounding harsh. 100% fully functional- tension rods, strainer, and internal muffler all work as smooth as silk. This is a great upgrade to the snare drums that come with entry-level kits, or is a solid backup snare drum for semi-pro players. This drum was made in Taiwan, predating modern Chinese made stuff. Has mild rust pitting in chrome in a couple of areas but all the rust has been removed. Could use a new snare side head but the drum is completely playable as-is. I'm tempted to keep it but I have some others and need to make space.
Item is in Wilson and I'm in Morehead City often, so it can be brought there or any point between or nearby.
