Kendrick Black Gold 35 boutique guitar amplifier--fantastic amp featuring 2x10 inch Kenrick speakers, normal and lead inputs with high / low options, 3 knob dual reverb (dwell tone and mix controls), Kendrick reverb foot switch, 1 tone control, speaker, extension speaker and line out jacks, external tube bias jacks and bias control for easy power 'tube tuning', and hardwood cabinet--pine I believe--see pics of the of the back of the cabinet). 

Excellent condition with no rips or tears in the tolex or grill cloth. This model was discontinued years ago. Founder Gerald Weber passed in 2024, and this amp is likely one of the cleaner examples in existence suggesting long-term collectability.

In a June 1998 interview guitar legend Jimmie Vaughan stated ,”If there is a better guitar tone than a Kendrick Black Gold, I haven’t heard it” and Gerald Webber wrote : "That amp got a perfect review in May 98 Guitar Player magazine".

Not certain when the tubes were last changed but I will say the amp does not make any "popping" squealing or fluttering noises that would indicate the tubes are bad. That being said they are not new tubes and understand that if you purchase this amp I will not be paying for a re-tube, bias etc. Has a pair of Sovtek 5881 power tubes that still have a good amount of silver on the base, a vintage RCA GZ34 and the 12AX7' preamp tubes appear to be EH--at least for the one I pulled.

Full disclosure, there is some wear and tear on end the plastic handle, which isn't visible when the handle is flush but is when lifted up (see last 3 pics). The inner metal handle strap still holds strong. Other than that minor detail, the amp in great shape
