This beast was part of Chris Poland's rig for years and was used on many dozens of records and shows! This amplifier is built like a tank and it never let him down. For the past 12 years it drove 2 Soldano 2x12 cabinets.

It comes loaded with 4x Mesa 6L6s, 4x Mullard EL34s & 4 Sovtek 12AX7s.

The Mesa Boogie 295 is widely considered one of the finest tube rack power amps ever produced. If you are looking for gigantic headroom, lush 3D spatial depth, and a rich, organic power section to breathe life into preamps or digital modelers, few power amps can match it.

Two output transformers capable of delivering 2 x 95 watts each, which can push 4 cabs or up to 8 cabs at 16 ohms with an amp switcher! 6L6 and EL34 tubes, so each channel has two modes. Class A at 30 watts through the EL34's or add the 6L6's for Class A/B Power at the full 95 watts each channel.

This power amp has spent the last few years in a high end recording studio as part of Chris' Chicago-based rig.

Serial number S1030 makes it a 1988/1989 Golden-Era production model.
