The Thomastik-Infeld SL110 is the medium-light gauge entry in the Blues Sliders series, a vintage-voiced electric set designed for players chasing the smooth, velvety character of classic blues and R&B tone. Round wound nickel wrap wire on the D, A, and low E is combined with silk inlays that reinforce even-order harmonics, delivering a big, round tone with precise overtone balance — the kind of sound that sings through an overdriven amp without turning brittle or harsh.

While the SL110 is voiced with vintage blues in mind, the character translates well beyond that genre.
