Description

The Thomastik-Infeld AC111 is a Vienna-made, light-gauge acoustic set built on a hybrid construction rare among steel strings. Plain E and B are brass-plated steel; the A, D, and G are polished bronze flatwound; and the low E is polished bronze roundwound. Silk inlays on the wound strings deliver precise overtone balance, and a highly flexible steel core keeps the feel supple under the fingers.

Tension runs low and evenly balanced across the set, making Plectrums a natural fit for vintage or lightly braced acoustics where heavier gauges risk stressing the top.
