Up for sale is a Fender Japan ST-62 Reissue finished in Vintage White color in very good condition. This particular model and trim has long been discontinued by Fender Japan.
It features a mint green pickguard with aged pick up covers, aged control knobs which has also naturally aged making the guitar look like a real vintage one. The back of the neck has some really nice figured pattern.
It is Crafted in Japan with serial# Q 088XXX which dates it to being manufactured between 2002 and 2004.The guitar weights 7 lbs 13 oz.
The nut measures aprox. 42mm and the neck profile is a comfortable C shape. The frets are vintage style frets and they show very little visible wear.
There are also some scratches, scuff marks and nicks and dings and a touched up area in the back side by the bottom strap pin - I tried to show these in the photos but I could not get the small and light ones. There is a finish crack by the neck heel at the bottom side of the neck heel. The pick ups are Fender USA Texas Specials and all electronics appear to be original. The pots and 5-way switch can be scratchy at times. I installed new D'Addario XL (9-42) new set of strings and the guitar is set-up and tuned 1/2 step down.
The guitar plays and sounds really good, and it is becoming harder to find one in this condition.
Sorry but I don't have the tremolo arm - I did not get it with this guitar.
