The Bowers & Wilkins 606 S2 is a 2-way bass reflex standmount loudspeaker built around a 165mm Continuum cone mid/bass driver and a 25mm Decoupled Double Dome reinforced aluminium tweeter — the same tweeter technology derived from B&W's flagship Nautilus line. The crossover components are inherited from the 700 Series Signature range, placing this speaker well above its entry-level price point in terms of engineering pedigree. It covers a frequency response of 52Hz to 28kHz, handles up to 120 watts, and pairs with amplifiers rated between 30 and 120 watts. A rear-firing dimpled reflex port with foam bungs allows placement flexibility, giving listeners the option to tune bass output depending on room positioning.
