Tone
The G12H-100 is one of Celestion's finest high-power guitar speakers and an excellent match for powerful Marshall valve heads. Compared to lower-powered Greenbacks or G12-65s, they offer greater headroom, a tighter low end and exceptional clarity without sacrificing the classic Marshall midrange.
Expect a huge, focused sound with powerful bass response, muscular lower mids and a detailed yet smooth top end that remains composed even under heavy gain. These speakers excel at delivering articulate rhythm tones while retaining the sustain and definition needed for soaring lead work.
The angled 1982A design provides excellent projection, making this cabinet equally suited to live performance and studio recording.
Condition
Presented in excellent vintage condition with only light cosmetic wear consistent with a well-cared-for 40-year-old cabinet.
The professionally replaced genuine Marshall grille cloth complements the cabinet perfectly while preserving its authentic appearance. The cabinet remains highly original throughout, and all four original speakers have been fully tested, performing exactly as they should.
Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
